A Craft Becomes an Industry
Soldatović Holding has acquired a 25% stake in Agro Systems and, together with the founding team, will establish a new legal entity — Agro Systems d.o.o. — to scale the production of aluminum irrigation pipes, fittings, and related equipment from Serbia to regional and global markets.
Founded in Niš in 2007, Agro Systems built on decades of know-how and equipment inherited from Nissal, one of the pioneers of aluminum systems in the former Yugoslavia. The company produced 4,700 six-meter pipes (various diameters) and about 350 solar collectors in 2008, with sales across Serbia and the wider Balkans. What began as a highly skilled bespoke workshop will now evolve into a standardized, industrial-grade producer — without losing the craftsmanship that made it trusted for more than 20 years.

As summers grow hotter and drought risk rises, irrigation is no longer optional infrastructure — it’s the backbone of food security and farm resilience. Aluminum pipe systems enable efficient, durable, and serviceable water delivery in the field, reducing waste and stabilizing yields.
With Soldatović Holding’s capital, operations discipline, and export channels, Agro Systems d.o.o. will:

- Modernize production lines and quality assurance
- Standardize SKUs while preserving bespoke capabilities for specialty projects
- Expand regional distribution and develop export pathways to Africa and other water-stressed markets
