Three timelines, kept clear.
Our family mark, our founders' careers, and the company each have a separate history. We state them that way. The mark has a known date. The two careers began in the same office. The modern firm builds and improves products and owns businesses.
1827
The mark on our emblem is a family mark. It appears on a family grave dated 1827, so we can link it to the family in that year. It may be older, but we have no record that proves it. We use the mark without a redesign to keep that link clear.
People ask if the company is three hundred years old or if the family descends from a known person with the same name. The company is not that old, and we do not know the second answer. We state only what the mark can support.
Since 2014
Jovan and Ivana began their careers at the same software firm in Troy, Michigan, in 2014. Jovan worked as a software engineer, while Ivana worked as a project manager. Jovan then built software for vehicle finance. Ivana managed online sales, content, and custom web projects. They have worked on digital products ever since.
This shared history shapes the company. For more than a decade, Ivana has focused on what to build and how a team can deliver it. Jovan has focused on how to design, build, and run the technology.
2015 to 2024
The founders returned to Serbia in 2015. The legal body now called Soldatovic HC d.o.o. was set up in Niš with IT consulting as its registered work. Jovan then built and led an engineering team for small and large clients. The team linked client systems with OTP and Raiffeisen Bank and built a government Central Registry for Agriculture. It also launched Logistics platform for logistics, Document OCR platform for finance OCR, and Customer experience platform for customer feedback. Ivana led products from idea to launch there. She later held product, business design, and delivery roles in larger technology firms.
Those years shaped how we work today: clear scope, short stages, sound quality, and formal acceptance.
2023 onward
From 2023, more of the founders' work moved to Switzerland. Ivana set up delivery and controls for ESG data platform, an ESG data platform. Jovan led technology for Wealth management and CRM platform, ESG data platform, and AI decision-support platform. He also led a technical review of ESG data platform for a major bank. In 2025, he became CTO and co-founder of Consumer recommendation platform in Zug. The social platform launched on iOS and Android and reached more than 18,000 active users in its first year.
Building and owning
In the same period, the family began to fund and run businesses outside software. Its interests span energy, farming, and hospitality. The Investments & Ventures page states each relationship. Daily work with equipment, seasons, and customers also shapes how we judge digital products.
Soldatovic Holding Co.
Today, clients meet this work through Soldatovic Holding Co. The family-owned technology and investment firm uses product and engineering to build and improve businesses. Jovan and Ivana lead it and take named responsibility for the work. The emblem carries a mark from 1827. The company comes from this century.
